😏🙄 THE PONZI THAT COST US MONEY
Is it just me or do we make the worst mistakes every time we are in a hurry? The ponzi that cost us money, the relationship we should never have gotten into, the job we shouldn't have taken etc. How something just comes up and there and then we want the holy spirit to speak, you met him or her yesterday you want the lord to speak today, you got the job offer five minutes ago, you want the lord to speak in the next 10minutes or you're taking it... Really....
But then let me talk about the one I've gotten some correction on recently.. You know how we listen to all these inspiring stories, Ted Ex, Forbes top lists etc of how so and so got to the top through her Instagram page or dropped out of school and started that or met the CEO for 3mins in an elevator and we immediately open our own business page on IG or Facebook page or apply to that company or start that business and two months later we accept the job offer at shell Cos it ain't working. We suddenly didn't get 1000 followers or 2k likes. No one is buying our products or patronising us. And in our lives we have all these abandoned projects. Things we started and ended for the wrong reason(s). I have learned the hard way that anything that will stand must have its foundation in purpose.
Entrepreneurship is good but we ain't all called into it so don't go starting up something just bcos someone is popular doing it on Instagram. We're jst trying things out hoping to stumble into popularity and riches. And if you've started something pls give it time, it takes people years, or months of persistence to get to the top. The person with the 1milliion followers didn't get it overnight. I'm tired of having uncompleted projects that make me look like a failure. I'd rather do it imperfectly and stay with the process until God gives me the promotion. He who puts his hands on the plough and looks back ain't fit for the kingdom.
