Drake Buries Long Time Friend Who Was Shot Dead In Toronto

On Saturday, American singer Drake was at the funeral of his long-time friend and OVO affiliate, Anthony "Fif" Soares, who was recently shot dead in Toronto.

Fif was shot to death by two gunmen on Thursday, September 14 in his apartment lobby at Scarborough, Toronto.

Drake was at the funeral which held over the weekend at the Ogden Funeral Home chapel in Scarborough, Ontario. The Canadian rapper later traveled to the Duffin Meadows Cemetery where he served as one of the pallbearers for the casket.
Eyewitnesses said Drake did not speak at the procession, and mostly kept to himself.

A gang of armed robbers on Thursday attacked a branch of the Skye Bank Plc in Ifon, the headquarters of the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State, killing two police officers attached to the bank and went away with an undisclosed huge amount of money. The incident put a halt to social and commercial activities in the town for several minutes as residents living close to the bank ran for safety.
