"Nnamdi Kanu Is Planning To Escape Nigeria Through Cameroonian Border"...Arewa Youths.

The Arewa Youths Consultative Forum (AYCF) has alleged that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu is plotting to flee the country through the Cameroonian border.

The group claimed it has intelligence reports that Kanu is scheming to flee to Cameroon and escape back to UK through the Cameroonian border.

According to previous reports, investigation shows that Nnamdi Kanu, and top leaders of his group have allegedly gone into hiding following Friday’s September 15 declaration by the Nigerian Army that IPOB and other Pro-Biafran groups were terrorists organisations.

APC Punch reports that the president of AYCF, Mallam Shettima Yerima said: “We are aware that he is scheming to find a way of escape through Cameroonian borders, which is easier for him to move and run back to where he belongs.

“He is on his way looking for how to run to Cameroon and that we are aware from our intelligence reports.”

Meanwhile, Reports from NAIJ.com says that a group, the Centre for Social Justice, Equity and Transparency (CESJET) has backed the proscription of the the activities of IPOB and its declaration by the Nigerian army as a terrorist organisation.

CESJET had also demanded an immediate arrest of Nnamdi Kanu.

The group commended the Nigerian military for taking the bold step and doing the needful by declaring IPOB as a terrorist group.

They further commended the southeast governors for proscribing IPOB even when they are daily blackmailed politically with threats of being labeled as traitors of their ethnicity.
