PHOTOS: Another Man jumps into Lagos Lagoon through the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge




A yet-to-be-identified man this afternoon jumped into the Lagos lagoon from the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge. Officials of the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA),  Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Marine Police and other stakeholders are already at the scene to rescue the man. The family home of Zambia striker Alex N'gonga in Chimwemwe, Kitwe has reportedly been attacked by hoodlums following Zambia's defeat to Nigeria at the Godswill Akpabio stadium, Uyo on Saturday, October 7. Alex Iwobi's second international goal condemned the Chipolopolo of Zambia to a 1-0 defeat as the Super Eagles qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.  The report stated that the thugs were livid with Alex N'gonga for missing so many scoring chances which would have helped the Chipolopolo in their tie against the Super Eagles. Alex N'gonga's mother was said to be inside alone when the house was attacked, but the report never stated whether she was hurt or not.

"Nigerian Cows Produce The Worst Milk In The World"... Audu Ogbeh.

The minister of agriculture and rural developmen Atudu Ogbeh , has said that Nigerian cows are the worst producers of milk across the world. Speaking in Lagos at the 79th anniversary of the Ikoyi Club 1938 on Thursday, September 28, Ogbeh said the cows raised in Nigeria produce far less quantity of milk than other in other parts of the world. The minister said while cows in some countries produce 100 litres of milk daily, an average Nigerian cow produces less than one litre of milk in a day. He also said that the cows in countries like Holland produce 50 litres per day on the average while the US cows have more production. Ogbeh said: “An average cow in the US drinks an average of 100 litres of water per day; but in Nigeria, I doubt whether a cow can get two liters of water per week.” “The earlier farmers started developing ranches for cows, the better it would be for the cow market and its entire value chain,” Ogbeh said.
