JUST IN: Police Finally Arrested A Calabar Pastor Who Allegedly Killed A One-Year And Six-Month-Old Baby For Ritual In Cross River State




Obo-Ekpenyog, the pastor of Royal God’s Commandment Ministry, Calabar, who allegedly killed a one-year and six-month-old baby for ritual in Cross River State has been paraded by the police command.
The suspect was paraded alongside six others, and some secrete worship materials were also discovered and exposed too.

"Students now drug invigilators with dangerous chemicals"... WAEC registrar claims

The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, is lamenting the rate of examination malpractice among students, adding that students now drug invigilators using dangerous chemicals. According to the council’s Registrar, Iyi Uwadiae, who spoke during a press briefing at WAEC International Centre, Lagos, proposed international summit on examination malpractices for October 19 and 20. He said:  “In some cases, and particularly during private examinations, candidates now go to centres fully armed with guns and other weapons. For the public examinations, there are centres, and especially private schools, where invigilators are drugged to pave way for them to engage in exam malpractices.” He continued to say, ' waging war against examination malpractices has become very expensive and more difficult, particularly with the advent of social media. A section of a building at the Gawon Nama residence of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko in Sokoto collapsed on Sunday, October 29. The affected unoccupied building was said to be undergoing renovation as at the time of the incident. According to reports, no loss of life was recorded, while nobody was injured in the incident. Senator Wamakko who inspected the affected section of the building, expressed gratitude to the Almighty Allah, describing the incident as an act of God ” The good people of the state should however continue to fervently pray to prevent the recurrence of such incidents,”  Senator Wamakko was quoted as saying.
