sex worker and suspected human trafficker, Martha Edea, 30, was arrested last Thursday in Lagos, while on her way to Ivory Coast.   The suspect was caught with a creamy substance, she said the charms were specially prepared for her to attract more customers when she gets to Abidjan where she had been a prostitute for the  past one year.‬ According to her,  Martha, a mother of two, according to her, she was lured into prostitution in Ivory Coast by one Mariam who told her there were chances of securing a good job there. She was later introduced to sex work where she slaved for months to raise N180, 000.‬ ‪She was reported to have said ‘instead of giving it free to boys on the streets, go and make money with it where you are going’.‬

Dad shot and killed his 14-year-old son because he is gay

A 53-year-old dad Wendell Melton shot and killed his 14-year-old son Giovanni over his  sexual orientation. "Giovanni was abused physically and mentally and spiritually for many, many years," said Sonja Jones, Giovanni's former foster mom. Over the phone, Jones spoke of the teen she loved as one of her own. . Jones says she was told by another family member that part of the argument that led to the deadly shooting was over Giovanni's sexual orientation. Jones says Wendell Melton had problems with it. . "He hated the fact that his son was gay," said Jones. "I'm sure that inside of his mind, he would rather have a dead son than a gay son." Court records show Wendell Melton worked for United Airlines. He once was a pilot. . Jones says Wendell threatened his son before. "I'm hearing his dad had caught him with his boyfriend before and pulled out a gun on him," said Jones. Breaking: More details emerge about the Texas church shooter, Devin Kelley

More details have emerged on the  Baptist church shooter in Sutherland Springs, Texas, who killed 26 people including a 5 year old child and the pastor's 14 year old daughter, Annabelle Pomeroy during the 11am service on Sunday. He also injured as many as 15 other people in the church. There were onluy about 50 people in the church at the time of his shooting, which has been declared as the deadliest shooting in Texas. The shooter has been identified as 26 year old Devin Kelley, who served in the US airforce from 2010, before he was dishonorably discharged in 2014 for beating up his wife and child. Kelley, 26, was from the San Antonio suburb of New Braunfels, Texas. Kelly served one year in military prison for the assault on his wife and kid in 2012 and was immediately discharged from the US Airforce after he served his time. The motive for his attack isn't yet known. The attack was stopped when a man (pictured above) at the church pulled out his own gun
